Another Group of Scam Artisit - Fowler Maxwell, PC

Just recently had to defend myself in court with Fowler Maxwell, PC in Camden County Magistrate Court due to not paying a bogus bill for shoddy work.  I will have the judgment back from the court in the next few days as the judge did not rule on the case.  If the judge sides with them  I will appeal his verdict.  Any judgment from a Magistrate Court in the state of GA can be set aside if the defendant chooses to appeal the case.

Right now my opinion of Fowler Maxwell is that they are incompetent and greedy and if I lose in this action due to them filing suit they will probably have the same problem that Netaudioads had when they relaunched an affiliate program by excluding the first group of affiliates they defrauded.

Its Official - The Car Business would Never Adopt This

I have car dealers as clients all over the country.  After the relationship is built them I bring up NetAudioAds and Pay Per Play.  The conversation usually turns into a "You gotta be kidding" conversation.  Recently I shared the idea of auto played audio advertising with my friends over at Peoria VW- a Phoenix Volkswagen Dealer and at first they thought the idea was kind of cool, until we discussed what it really meant.

After they understood that many people would not even hear the ads because of internet use at work and the fact that when people hear audio online it actually has no call to action unless the content is geared to allow a conversion it would turn into just another annoyance.  My friends at Beechmont Ford a Cincinnati Ford dealer realized this from the very start.

My friend Chris Cox at a Bradenton used car dealership also agreed that that auto played audio advertising would just be a huge waste of bandwidth and do more to damage a dealers reputation in a marketplace than drive traffic to their offerings.  Its a good thing that people understand that some things are just better off left out of their marketing mix.

Why Do People Do This

Recently I was trying to help a local dealer maximize their online exposure, Golden Isles Nissan, and was met with an interesting problem.  When I was an internet manager for another dealer I created landing pages going after competing dealers by name and forgot to take them all down when I was no longer in a dealership.  They even resorted to threatening to have me arrested, very similar to what Sam Deeb and Larry Host did when I started blogging about voice to page, after they discovered this.  What they do not realize I do not take to threats well.  So now their online competition has just gotten a little tougher.

As one of the top automotive seo firms in the country we have enough collateral and understanding of what consumers search for to create lead generation properties going after their customers that will provide more income that any relationship we would of ever had with Golden Isles Nissan.
